Borderlands 3 has a ton of different story and side missions in the game to keep you busy.  The high point of the story, however, are the vault missions which have you battling against massive bosses.  You’ll encounter the vaults in the story missions and there are four vaults in the game.

There are 4 Vaults in Borderlands 3

The four vaults are spaced out pretty evenly across the Borderlands 3 campaign’s 23 story missions.  Below you’ll find a list of the different vaults in Borderlands 3 and when you can expect them at different points in the story.

Story Mission – Chapter 10 – Beneath the Meridian – Vault of the Rampager

Story Mission – Chapter 16 – Cold as the Grave – Vault of the Graveward

Story Mission – Chapter 19 – The Great Vault – Vault of the Architects

Story Mission – Chapter 23 – Divine Retribution – Vault of the Destroyer

Depending on how hard you focus on doing on the story missions of Borderlands 3 it will take you more or less time to get through these vaults.  In said vaults you will find some of the toughest enemies of the game and the rewards will be equal to the challenge.  Keep pressing through the 23 chapters of the Borderlands 3 story missions and you’ll eventually uncover all of the vaults in the game.
